He was found guilty of perjury, obstruction of justice and lying to the FBI and will probably get jail time. Which he should.
However!
Clinton lied and perjured himself to a Federal Grand Jury and was found guilty on several counts of obstruction of justice and got nothing and is now out making millions doing speeches.
Is this yet another double standard for democrats. If your democrat, you can make mistakes and not pay the price but if your independant or republican you go straight to jail.

Lying is lying. Obstruction is obstruction. At least thats what libs say until it applies to their own.
Libby lied about Plame who is or was a CIA analyst, not a covert operative. How would that risk national security?
Clinton was so busy bobbing and weaving and lying about Lewinski he totally missed the Bin Laden factor. 3000 people died because of him.

Because the Liberals don't like him. That was his only crime, he worked against them and they railroaded him. Don't forget Sandy Burger who was caught red handed stealing documents for the Clintons..... nothing what so ever happened......

Since he has been convicted of 4 felonies, I'm sure he will be sentanced to jail, bur he has already filied an appeal & will undoubtedy be free on bail pending the outcome. IMHO the verdict is a travesty. He could not possibly have obstructed justice since
1) There was no crime
&
2) He did not know who revealed Plame's identity.
Since he wasn't the 1 to reveal her identity, did not thing she was undercover (she wasn't), her identity wasn't an important matter for him, I wouldn't expect him to remember who told him or when.

No not all it's just that the justice system is that way unfortanetly, How many criminal, civil, jury trials have you seen or heard of where two criminals do the same exact crime. one offender get 2 years , and one 0 years, it's just how it work's it is unfortunate . I dont believe it's a polictical reason. if that was the case we all protest that we were democrat just to stay out of jail .

Yeah, we'll see how much ''jail time'' he gets. Politicians of ANY affiliation are crooked and NEVER serve the time they should. He'll probably do some time on a golf course somewhere, and run in to Bill C. while he's there.

He might go to jail. However, it is a white collar crime, as opposed to a crime of violence. Probation, a fine and community service are called for rather than prison.
