Going to a college with more elite students? If you already feel like an "outcast" at your present school, can you imagine what you'll feel like at THIS school? MORE to do? I'm hoping you mean extracurricularly. Besides, where are you going to school now - in Outer Mongolia? The ONLY correct reason for transferring to another school is that you feel your academics aren't what they could be AND you've exhausted every - and I do mean EVERY - form of help at your present school.

None of those! If you want to socialize, get a job at McD's or BK. College is for one purpose -- to get a good education. If another institution has a better academic record and standing, then by all means try to go there.
