An interim order was filed 5 years ago that granted my mother custody with joint custody with their father. For the last 3 years the children have physically lived with me. Their grandmother still wants the child support to be paid to her even though she sends me the money. It has become quite a hassle. She lives in Texas and the children and I live in Louisiana. I have an appointment with an attorney this week and was wondering if anyone knows exactly how I have this interim order changed.

in case you somewhat can no longer arise with the money for to pay her, then i would not pay, record while the youngsters began residing with you and save that court docket order. additionally, purely in case you get a decide that likes to be an @ss, i could save “information”(like showing how your money is now going to the youngsters) which you have been no longer able to deliver her newborn help for the interim. in case you do have the money for interim, then i could pay her and then ask the decide to order her to reimburse you from the term that to procure the youngsters. maximum critically, save clean documentation and function the skill to state needless to say and concisely to the decide why you took the strikes you took, what you decide on now, and why you're interior the criminal applicable. in case you have a criminal expert, it somewhat is relatively worth it to ask what you need to do.
