I'm going to have a tummy tuck done in a couple of weeks. I've seen several before and after pictures and I feel satisfied that I want to have this done. I am 5' 9" and weigh 131 pounds, but I have a roll of skin on my abdomen from having had three babies via c-section.

Is there anyone out there who has had a tummy tuck and can e-mail me regarding questions that I have. Because of privacy, my doctor would not give me the names or numbers of anyone that I could talk to or ask questions of.

basically, I want to know if you're glad you had it done? What did it cost? How long were you off work? Pain level? Scarring? Weight/inches lost? Stuff like that.

Anyone out there?

Scarless tummy tuck, or otherwise known as mini tummy tuck , is an excellent alternative for people who usually have a small amount of abdominal skin to be removed and have firm and flat abdominal muscles. In addition, other potential candidates are individuals whose abdominal area is beginning to sag due to aging or who have slim abdomens that they wish to sculpt into a more desirable shape.

Scarless tummy tuck surgery may be performed under general anesthesia, but is usually completed with a local anesthetic and mild sedation. The length of the incision involved in a mini tummy tuck will depend on the amount of skin to be removed, but will generally be smaller than the incision required by a traditional tummy tuck. This is why mini tummy tuck surgery is also sometimes known as a " scarless tummy tuck." Unlike a traditional tummy tuck, the surgeon usually does not have to reposition the navel during mini abdominoplasty. If necessary, liposuction may also be performed to help sculpt the tummy into the desired shape.

I quite doubt it. first of all you will possibly choose 2 diverse docs to accomplish 2 diverse operations rather lots on an analogous time. additionally maximum coverage firms do not cover cosmetic surgical technique expenditures, if any do. it somewhat is something you're able to desire to pay for out of pocket because of fact it somewhat is senseless surgical technique. Too undesirable it could not be finished on the grounds which you're already all open and such interior the 1st place. Oh yet another element..for the section you are able to take transport of an area and saved unsleeping. For a tummy tuck you will could desire to be positioned below it extremely is a various anesthetic.

Your doctor can give names of people if they agree. This is a red flag that your doctor doesn't have any satisfied customers. Is he certified by the board of plactic surgeons? I'd check first.
