First Pronger, now Tkachuk. Who's next, Legace?

Don't worry about Tkachuk. He will be back with the Blues next season, the same route Doug Weight took last season. The blues traded Tkachuk to give him a chance to win a Stanley Cup. Besides, Larry Pleau got a king's ransom for him. Look at it this way: when Tkachuk comes back, waiting for him will be Lee Stempniak, Jay McClement, a stud defensive corps led by Barrett Jackman, Christian Backman, Eric Brewer, and Erik Johnson, a boatload of prospects from the draft (seized via trades from this past deadline), and a healthy goaltending duo of Manny Legace and Curtis Sanford. Plus, look at their farm system. The Blues will be back!

Snoop is right. When a team does not have a chance to amke the play-offs they "rent" out their star palyers who can move. The teams that "rent" these players do not want to pay the high season prices for elite players so they ship them back. You'll most likely see Tkachuk and Guerin next season.

He is an old star on a rebuilding team. Get what ya can for him especially if he might have been a free agent next year.
