Cheap shares? What do you mean? Do you mean stocks where the share price is low (e.g., under $5/share)?

Keep in mind that cheap shares do not translate into good investments. While some penny stocks do work out, most do not. Many people have lost a lot of money in penny stocks.

Instead, stick to buying fewer shares in better companies (or in funds). As you have more money to invest, add it.
