Restart your computer, when it says "press delete to enter setup", you press it. In setup choose "first boot drive" CD, save and exit, let your computer start. After that put the xp CD inn the cd drive, restart your computer and from there it should start on its own. Don't forget after reinstalling xp to change in setup first boot drive back to "hard".
Hope this helps :)

Boot your machine to Xp Home and then put the XPPro disk in, it should autoboot and offer to do an upgrade. That is the option to take then your data and settings will be safe

but if you want to install NEW window... you have to restart your PC after restarting press DEL button it will go in BIOS setting then you have to first disable HDD option from BIOS ... then you have to change boot sequence from BIOS..select there BOOT from CD ROM then insert CD in CD ROM n restart your PC....this time...your PC will BOOT from CD...
