Maybe you could describe how you became an angel, your appearance, or some deeds that you have done since becoming an angel. Maybe take a historical approach and include an event that you were in teh midst of (9/11 for instance) You might even describe your surroundings, some of the things you see, hear, feel, smell. Or, maybe take a more lighthearted approach and describe what might happen if you lost you wings and halo.

Watch the movie City of Angels and The Sixth Sense and then sit back and think about if it was you and put it into your own reality and then start writing and don't worry about editing, just brain storm it out.
