I am able to visit San Diego or Albuquerque for a few days in August. I have not been to either. Which would you choose and perhaps even a reason why. Thanks in advance....

ALBUQUERQUE!...
san diego is too much city with too much to do in three days.... new mexico has tons more to offer for a laid-back time away from home.... hiking, biking, national parks, beuatiful scenery and deserts.. plus albquerque has a cool, hip, artsy vibe to it... do socal when you have more time...

As much as I love Albuquerque, I would probably go with San Diego for ocean, the zoo. But if you are interested in Southwest Indian history, culture, and food or art then by all means go to Albuquerque. Spend a day or 2 in Old Town and the musems, and take the tram to the Sandia Peak.

yeah i would do southern cali when you have more time. even though i personally prefer San Diego. btw, if you go to san diego and want to go to the zoo, then go to Wild Animal Park, it's associated with the San Diego zoo, but the animals are more free and it's more natural and plus, it's way more fun! it's only like a 45 min. drive too! Albequerque has more like indian stuff and nature much like southern utah and arizona. wherever you go you're going to have fun i can tell you that
