Julius Caesar was a gifted general whereas Achilles was a gifted warrior. So if they both had an army, Caesar would probably kick his ***.

Caesar was a very real person, and Achilles was that of legend. Caesar was one of the best generals throughout all of history and remained almost completely undefeated. He also had great command and respect among his men. His only downfall seemed to be choices of women and his lust for power. Achilles on the other hand was extremely skilled in his own personal battles, but seems to have lacked the push to go as far as possible. Caesar would have done anything for victory and power. I think that in a war between the two, Caesar's army would win because he wouldn't stop until he won.

(first, sorry for my english)
it seems obvious for me cesar would win in a war between both population, this becouse of many subject
1) first achille lived in the bronze era and he did'nt know steel arms (i know several time the translation say 'steel' but is wrong)
2)greek were usaully fighting one on one, without any great technic, while romans had a very complex strategy (the tortuga one)
however, it seem obvious the opposite, so, if cesar and achilles would fight one on one, achille's would win
:)

Caesar, because he became a guy before the Senate granted him divinity. He became no longer petrified of witchcraft. they say about Julius: "he became a reliable husband to each and each lady he ever met, and a reliable spouse to each and each guy he ever met."

If you know the story of David and Goliath, it reiterates the fact that strength is never a match for cunning...so I would have to go with the brain rather than brawn.......
