I like some reality programmes but do agree they have spoiled things by putting them on all the time

They used to be much better when they first came out, now the producers are more concerned w/ "shock" instead of keeping it about talent. They seem to have underestimated the ability of an audience to enjoy a show based on quality. Take American Idol, they always have a handful of good singers and a bunch of lesser ones because it ensures that the good ones up splitting votes and lesser talented singers will stay, thus creating a "shock" moment. I think the show would have an even larger following if they didn't focus so much on the shock factor and kept it about the talent.

Every year, the executives of all the major networks are coming out with new reality shows. Enough's enough! Stop the insanity!
There are too many reality shows. What are we going to see next? How many girls can a guy bed in a week? Wow, now that's interesting!

They are utter RUBBISH.......
The only 2 i watch is Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing On Ice. (sad I know but hey)
BB and the likes are rubbish!! They 1st 2 or 3 series were ok but now it's more about arguing etc. At l;east like of Helen made you laugh as did Kate and Brian. Yes they had arguments but nopthing that bad.... Started going downhill when looking for annoying characters and people who would do nothing but argue....
C4 scrap it now!!!!

I find it difficult referring to them as reality shows because the one thing they don't mirror is reality. As to my thoughts on them - well the best thing is to axe them. These programmes are cheap TV for the broadcasting companies - minimum requirement for sets etc and they somehow manage to get the public to pay for it through extortionate premium rate phone calls. I suspect a lot of it is driven by peoples desire to be on TV.

I don't like them - BB was OK the first time round as it was a little different, but they grew old real fast. I rarely watch the box anymore as it's all phone in quiz shows and reality celebrity/wannabe guff now

Personally I cant stand them, I think there's far to many . They should put them all on one channel and if you want to watch them then you pay, like sky sports ect. then the rest of us might get some decent tele.

I think they should come out with a new reality show and they pull over those people with those bumper stickers that say I love swimming or something like that and kidnap them and make them do whatever their bumper sticker says they love to do.

I think they've taken over the planet! I agree, they are overused now. It's time for some good dramatic and comedic sitcoms. If there are any decent script writers left out there, that is.
