most employers will give a drug test before employment and when you get hurt. Some companies say they give random drug test but I have never once had one and nobody I know has had one where I work at least. The military gives random drug test professional sports do too. Basically an employer can give you a drug test whenever they want if you sign a paper saying that you agree to random drug testing.

Well, not all restaurants do drug tests at all. But businesses generally have 3 policies:
1) Prior to employment
2) Random Testing
3) After an accident/incident.
