can someone get hurt using myspace

I think myspace is very bad for teens. Why not try a nice Christian space for teens!

not if they're smart. they don't want to give out personal information such as school/place they live/job etc. Also advise them not to meet anyone from the internet. If they must make sure it's in a public place- you really don't know who's on the other side of the screen.
make the profile private - so only friends can access it.
Better safe and careful than sorry and hurt.

no myspace isnt bad 4 teens at all if they are responsible and no right from wrong!!! if they are juss on there for fun there is no problem at all!!!!! as long as the right descisions are made....it isnt bad at all!!! but ppl can get hurt by giving in to ppl who are juss trying to hurt u or abuse u!!!! there are some crazy preditors on there juss lookin 4 victims but as long as u make right coices and are smart.....myspace isnt a problem at all!!!!! u juss hav to be very cautious!!!!!!! i hope i answered ur question 4 u!!!!!!! hope i helped!!!!!!

id say that they make it a lot safer now since there's the option to make your profile only available to be looked at by the people you accept as your friends. you can either deny or accept people to look at your profile and be your friend. if a stranger contacts a teenager, just do not respond and delete the message! or you can block the user. you can meet a lot of cool people that live in your town as well. trust me i know lol

from what i know... you can only get in trouble when u put a sexy pic on there.. tell everyone what school u go to.. where u live.... and i seen a few that were graphic... not good.... there are lots of predators that gets on and look for someone like looking through singles ad.... kids can put control setting on their profiles and only their friends can see it.... and kids are so nieve and they will meet someone that they THINK they know.. so u gotta be carful.
