I think vick is a great athelte, but he blooooowwwws as a quaterback. he is very over rated, and will never be considered a good qb. atlanta should trade him and go with schaub, he is much better than vick. and i agree with you that vick is probably best suited as a punt returner.

Its funny how you callin him a thug. You people start calling him that after the bottle situation and the Herpes conflict.. Know what a thug is. He aint no thug, trust me I know, I knew a couple of people who are thugs. This guy stayed out of trouble being famous and rich. You guys saying that he's black and he had made few mistakes. But making mistakes thats what human beings do
Remember last time Falcons went to the playoffs in Mora's first year of coaching. Vick stepped up and made the big plays. You cant put Vick at running back because he will fumble the ball alot, WRs, I dont think he'll succeed. Falcons need to find a coach that fits Vicks game and also need WRs. For example, get Randy Moss and another Wrs, Vick should do fine. I dont think hes overrated but hes overpaid.

Well he's shown that he CAN be a real QB...I believe he had a 3 TD and 4 TD game last season against Dallas and Pittsburgh...but consistency makes a QB a REAL QB..not just every now and then throw a few good passes. He is a fantastic athlete, without a doubt, but he could be a better kick returner and WR than he is a QB at this point...but lets see what the new coach can do for him...My bet is still on him being a bad QB though.

Vick is a real QB. Just not a good one. He is an inaccurate passer and he doesn't have any touch on his throws. He makes bad decisions and for that his recievers get blamed for it. They have a real one in Matt Schaub so I think this could be a make or break year for Vick because they protected Schaub for one more year because of high interest in him. I hate it when all the sportscasters and some of the players are still on his nuts. He isn't that good. I am glad he rushed for 1000 yards because it shows he should be a RB instead.

Atlanta cant trade or release Vick anytime soon because they gave him that big contract and signing bonus before he proved himself. He is a real QB, he has a fairly strong arm and would be more accurate if his recievers could do their jobs and catch. However Vick does need to learn to put faith in his recievers and look to throw the ball before he makes the decision to run. Maybe if he did that his recievers would get the blame that they should for dropping the ball. But he is the QB and its damned if you throw it and its get dropped and damned if he runs every down. Its a lose lose situation for Vick, either way he gets the blame.

Vick is a real Quarterback, it's just that he does not know the difference between a Running Back and a Quarterback.

He isn't a pocket passer, but he is a quarterback he is just a running quarterback and not many of those have had a lot of postseason success. I believe it would be in Atlanta's best interest to go with Schaub but I don't think they will.
