I have this acquaintance who i just cannot figure out. Either he secretly dislikes me and barely tolerates being around me and this is why he acts this way, or this is basically how he acts to everyone:
He doesn't really show much emotion, he is kind of impassive and expressionless for the most part. Yes, he will smile once in a while, but I would not describe his range of facial/physical expression very wide.
He is monotone most of the time, his voice doesn't vary much.
Sometimes the volume of his voice is inappropriate.
He says things that are kind of offensive, but he doesn't say them in an offensive way, just kind of says them as statements but they are kind of offensive or inappropriate. I know he's done it to other people but not sure if they were supposed to be jokes. He does not indicate with his facial expression that it's a joke, because he says in a expressionless, montone manner. He does not reveal much about himself when I am trying to get to know him better........

His answers are either mundane or short. I have seen him with his best friends and he does have a sarcastic sense of humor with them. he seemed to be having a good time with them and that's wy i was interested in getting to know him. He does talk to me and never prematurely ends the conversation, but he also never initiates talking to me, so I am not sure if he minds me or what. he is pretty difficult to read. He has never explicitly,, directly done anything to indicate he dislikes me, but he also doesn't show much interest in me either. he also is "indifferent" to a lot of things.
I just don't get him.
I am giving up getting to know him because i don't want to feel like I am being intrusive on him if he does not wish to talk to me. Does anybody know if this is just his personality? or is he closing off to me specifically???

Sometimes I feel like I act this way with people I don't know very well, but I am actually very sensitive. I don't know this guy, but he may just be afraid of rejection. I know I tend to shut down and act emotionless when I don't know how to react in a situation. The cure for me is time and trust. If you are friendly and consistent in your behavior towards him, he may come to count on you and may start initiating things on his own. If you are friendly one day and quiet the next, he may not know what to expect from you and shut down, just waiting for you to make all the moves. It is also possible that he has Asperger's Syndrome (a mild form of Autism) OR maybe he just doesn't have much experience socializing and needs to learn the appropriate skills. Either way, he is probably fearful. I talked to a school counselor once and he said it felt to him like I was a "little girl trapped in a box" and to let myself come out and play. Maybe he keeps himself locked up even though he really does not want to be like that. I know because I don't like acting that way either. It's just that sometimes it's the only way to keep things safe and neutral.

MA: Queen it rather is somewhat impossible to attempt to evaluate to those vocals, additionally I certainly have by no potential considered each person carry out this stay extra suited than Queen on the Rainbow 1974. unusually adequate this music did no longer get the popularity it deserved whilst it replace into first released because of the fact it replace into somewhat merely before its time. I certainly have merely as quickly as listened to the Metallica version and that's extra effective than adequate, imitation is a great style of flattery as they say. BA: metallic has great music surprisingly guitar riffs and the mixture of drum and bass. it rather is tough to locate using guitars in a extra suited environment. it stands out as the music, despite if there are followers who pay attention to particular puffed up bands because of the consistent created media hype and overzealous historic legacies. BA2: particular it’s unlucky for the extra youthful participants in view that they could desire to be extra expressive devoid of having insulted. regrettably there are assorted trolls in R&P, multi money owed even many proper participants are in many circumstances with extra troll money owed in R&P rigging the balloting and surprisingly flaming assorted participants, communities, bands and artists. unluckily the adulthood stages would be effective yet as I’ve considered for some whom you’d assume some courtesy and attention, they're usually the instigators and catalyst, for such motives some think of they carry some priority. ultimately the area starts off to lose creditability with outrageous monotone questions and constrained or very unknowledgeable feedback and responses, ludicrous comparisons and agreements as is obvious on some activities BA3: i do no longer be conscious an accessory whilst it’s in a music, that's impossible to become attentive to until eventually that's extreme including C&W. while you're suggesting on a time-honored point no longer musically, even however I’m based interior the united kingdom as a call i might decide for a extreme-high quality American accessory.

It is nice of you to try to get to know this rather closed person I guess but in my opinion life is too short to have to work that hard to get to know someone. Since he never initiates conversation with you I doubt he is too interested in your company so I would give it up if I were you.

Nah, there are pretty many semi-apathetic people that who will seem to be awesome after you've built enough relationship with them. Still, if their attitude seems to be repulsive to you, leave them alone.
