Question

My Tulip...


You trod on my tulip,
You made me cry,
Something so beautiful,
Left to die.
Reminds me of a thing or two,
Like the love I once had for you.
Broken down,
Left alone,
I never should have met you.

it shows promise, you started with every second line in ryhme but then dropped it at the end which affected the flow for me............you trod on my tulip, you made me cry. something so beautiful, left to die., photos cards and letters, remind me of a thing or two. sad broken things, like the love i once had for you. you broke me down , left me miserable all alone. i wish i had never even met you,damn you you've gone.

This poem would make a better impact with the last 3 lines left out....you're comparing your love to the dying tulip, but the last 3 lines don't really fit.

Artisic and full of feelings. A little melancholy. Try to be more possitive, writing such sad things will worsen your mood if you indeed is experiencing relationship trauma.

from some one that does write poetry,I rate it as a well on a scale of 1-10 well i give it a 3..... it just needs well tweeking

I like it. It starts off sweet, then gets sad, and finally bitter. That's a lot to cover in so few words! Good job.

I thought it was creativity written. Shows emotion and expression. Not to many people have that ability to put words into that form of expression. Kudos!!

Yeah thats pretty good i write poems too! Except mine are a little more darker.
