Hey Archangel - you may be right that some people don't know what he was on trial for, and THAT's the travesty. It was for obstruction and perjury. Its the attempted cover-up that's at issue here, not the leak.

a travesty of justice. most of the leftist's on here don't even know what he was on trial for. It wasn't for outing Valerie Plame as they think.

The special investigator knew 2 days into the case that it was Richard Armitage that was the source.

Libby was screwed over on a process crime. Fitz continued putting people under oath after he knew it was Armitage for 2 more years. It came down to a memory failure and a he said he said to convict that poor man.

I am waiting for more information to be relased myself

But if one is conviceted in a jury of ones peers and any appeals are not made that turn over the case, it is the way our system of law works.

none of us were privy to the information and testimony that occured in the trial, so beliving in the justice system like i do, Their decision , if uninflunced by anyone or anyting was a just one.

He lied, got caught, and is about to pay the price. It's nice to see our justice system still occasionally applies to those in power. If anyone wants to see the live feed of the press coverage (supposed to start at noon), here's the link: http://www.yahoo.com/s/523544

Too bad Skooter has to be the scapegoat for Cheney. But that's the way the ball bounces in those powerful circles.
