If you jump off an overpass with the intentions of commiting suicide, and you live, get up with a new outlook on life, then you get smashed by a car, is it still suicide?

Sounds like a loser to me, first you didn't commit suicide right, then changes and has the bad luck of getting killed looking on the bright side. Legally I would think just your actions would exonerate the driver that hit you, so they would rule it a suicide for the record. Since you went out to kill yourself and accomplished it, yeah I quess it would be a successful endeavor.
