Knockoffs should be illegal. They are like lying. They pretend to be an expensive product but upon close examination prove otherwise. It hurts the reputation of the real product and the very talented people who designed, manufactured and sold it. Those who market knockoffs should be sent to jail for some time. Say a year for each item they have sold. It is like a copyright infringement or stealing someone's patent.

Yes they are illegal. Put yourself in the possession of the people who made, patented and paid to have everything legal. Would you want others to steal your ideas and make these "knockoffs" when you don't get any money from them. Not to mention all of the people who work for the original company getting screwed.
Being in a business. I can say that I think that anyone who makes knockoffs should be thrown in prison and made to pay every cent to the original makers.

Knockoffs are a great thing for people who cant afford the real deal. But if people are doing it illegally by telling the customer its the real deal then they should be in jail. And the people who manufacture the real thing are not getting hurt because they still sell alot of their own products.

Some fashion designers have to fly around in Gulfstream G150s instead of G350s because of these knockoffs. How much more can you expect them to endure?

Whether they should be is irrelevant since they are. Who is hurt the most is the person buying the cheap crap. I say it is between the copyright holder and the seller. It is wrong to mass distribute fake garbage. Buying and wearing knock-offs is pathetic. You are not fooling anyone with a fake and people know a fake. Fake people wear fakes. I would rather have a used authentic item than a new fake. Fake sucks. You will look like a cheapskate phoney when you wear a fake.

Of course they should be illegal. What if you did something and someone wanted to take the credit away from you. It's like copyright infringement and cheats the public and the originator.

Yes. The original manufacturer. Bad in both short and long run.
