for me it is usually to some far away place in my mind, I love those little adventures, wish some could come true!

A quiet little spot where the sounds of nature are abundant and I can hear God's whisper as it rustles the leaves of the oaks and sycamores with a gentle breeze. Where I can lie back and take in the playfulness of the squirrels and other critters as they carry on their day seemingly without care. Where I can watch the clouds dance through the sky and evolve from a game of tag to a couple gazing in each others eyes and entwined in one anothers arms. It's a place where I can walk along the meandering stream that appears green from the shadows of lush vegetation surrounding it. But; it is crystal clear so that I can watch the brownies jump as they prey on their next meal or swim lazily through the calm waters. A place where I can find strength in the rugged tree trunk all worn and twisted from it's battle of life as it jets out from the side of the bluff and even in it's death supports new life and shelters the young that inhabit it. It's a place teeming with multiple personalities that fight for survival, and yet; live in harmony.

being carried away is the best time of my day. first im chillin and my mind starts to wander. im thinking about something, and im thinkin deep. soon enough im so far off subject im living in a fairy tale. im happy, i feel good, nobody can touch me. im seeing things that can only happen in my own mind. then suddenly...... IM HUNGRY! everything is back to normal and im eating mustard dogs thinking what a wonderful time i just had!

an open and vast field with wild flowers of all different colors. mountains line the horizon of the sky and there is a little girl with dandilions in her hair pulling a red wagon.

in the winter i get taken back to our camping, in our fith wheel camper we have located in a campground several miles away from home, sitting around the firepit listening to the night sounds and sipping on a drink with no worries no cares..surrounded by my husband, son and close camping friends ..

i do the same thing, i go to my little happy place in my head, it keeps me sane, and the scenery is always different.
