They say they'll stick with him, but are likely quietly looking. Every NFL quarterback has potential. Rex has potential - both upside and potential to show downside.

At his worst he is, in my opinion, one of the bottom feeders. At his best, he has a rocket for an arm. The lack of consistency, with a cliff always one play away for him, and his inability to take the blame and criticism, has him destined to be what he was this past season - a quarterback with volatile potential, nothing more or less.

i don't know. but you have to remember, that this was his first full year as a pro. his inconsistency drove me nuts, but when he was on, he was great, when he was off...... i think I could have played better. hopefully they don't shatter his confidence by bringing in a 1 year band aid, while he sits the bench. I've been a bears fan since '83, and it was just nice to see the same face at QB for 18 straight games. i think they should use the shot gun formation more on passing downs to give him a extra second to make his reads ,and get rid of the ball. i still have faith in the kid (amazingly) so hopefully he steps it up a notch next year.

They gotta be sticking with him > If they weren't going to stick with him what was the point of leaving him in during the SB ? They could have put in Greise and if Grossman was gone anyway why worry about his feelings ?

Going in, I'd say yeah, they will stick with him. But, any GM worth his salt is going to be on the look out for a good pick up at QB, that could make the team better.
