The ones like Penn, Streisand, Baldwin, Moore and their ilk.
I mean, why don't they stick to their jobs and entertain us and quit trying to spew their garbage on us. They have no clue what a loaf of bread or gallon of milk costs, so why do so many people give them such a huge amount of credibility? They know nothing about day to day living in the "real" America.

Well, one thing is for sure. Martin and October are definately loony liberals. Especially martin. He's the worst kind, loony and angry.

I knew this question would bring them out. They try and defend the un-defendable.

I do believe that americans gave those people rank when they started paying them outragous money for entertaining us. When people realize that "celebrites" are nothing more than people playing "make believe", then they will finally get it. Until then, we are doomed with idiotic people looking to other people for guidance. Thank you and may GOD come soon to correct the wrong that has been done upon his earth.

Most celebrities actually have had it rough at one time and that's why the wanted big money and celebrity and to escape from reality with acting. I think they get so caught up in the fake world they live in - such as their jobs acting and then the adoration and fanatic fans.
They use their celebrity to push off their views. Unfortunately there are probably huge numbers of people that will by into that and be swayed.
Celebrities are often easy to sway themselves for more money and more fame. Look at all of the Scientologist. They actually believe that this Science Fiction writer is some kind of higher being. Whatever.
The problem isn't with the celebrities spouting off their views, that's the price of freedom. The problem is the flock of people taking their word as truth instead of looking at,studying, and learning things on their own.
Another problem is the importance that American media and the public place on these individuals. Making hero's of actors and actresses is just foolish. They are doing a job, which we pay them to do. They are employed by us. Without us they would be nothing.
Hero's should be those out there making a difference in the world not entertaining it.

RICH PEOPLE HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE ANSWERS.
did you ever hear of a poor guy that had all the answers, I Mean other than Jesus.
WI was raised in a two bedroom home sharing one bedroom with 4 others was not very comfortable but for me i did not know any better,
to me I was the richest man in the world, my family was all around me, in love and and good times, I remember getting an Orange for Christmas and a piece of chocolate at Easter, and thinking just how wonder full that was, of course after i grew up i realized that others received more and some much less.
all this to say. i am now a very successful business man because i always remembered how i got here and who i helped along my way.
My wife just recieved an orange w3 Hummer for her birthday, i was reminded of my Orange and how that was just as important to me at the time as her car is to her.
when you speak of actors and entertainers who do good things for others, such as Oprah with her school for girls in Africa, the only reason she let people know what she did,
was so that others would consider doing more for the needy, or as she put it," Putting your money where your mouth is."
they are not all bad,
the times haven't really changed at all ,
it is us that have changed ,
some to the good and some to the bad.

So everyone of these people was born with a silver spoon in his mouth? Do you think Pat Buchanan or any other talking head understands what it's like to be an ordinary american? They do just as much as a star.

Many of the stars lived in trailers or their cars while trying to make it.

It is amazing how they continue to insult and demean most of their audience with their crazy ideals. Is it any wonder why movies are doing so bad lately? Everyone is tired of them opening their mouths and preaching to us their wacko nonsense. The last couple of Penn movies bombed..I wonder why?

Rationalization is a great defense against guilt and remorse. Often people will rationalize almost any action in order to avoid feeling that they are "wrong". I believe much of the media is caught in this trap.

Because we have our own thought process, we are not in touch with small town bigotry and hatred. California should succeed from the US, our economy is strong enough, and our values and beliefs are much different from places like South Dakota, or Alabama, why should welfare states like that have a say in how we live, and plus if you don't like it, get your entertainment from somewhere else

They have all this guilt because due to being so rich and they feel compelled to try and do some good. I hate all those stupid liberal celebraties that you mentioned as they should stick to things they know such as acting.

Hollywood promotes what sells. If you want to blame anyone, blame the general public for watching crap.
