Three animals are known to hold this unique record ! they are :

Undersea record : The Atlantic Giant Squid has the largest recorded eyes of any animal with an approximate diameter of 50 centimetres (20 inches),although those of the Colossal Squid are thought to reach an even greater size.

land record : The ostrich has the largest eyes of any land animal. Each eye can be up to 2 inches in diameter.

Pre-Historic record :T. rex had an eye about the size of a softball, one of the largest eyes ever developed in the animal kingdom - past or present. This would have included plenty of space for black-and-white and color receptors; since its ancestors (crocs) and its descendants (birds) see in color, scientists think T. rex did, too. Also, it's optic nerve was huge (2 cm), which meant that eyesight was keen - not to mention binocular. That is, since T. rex eyes faced forward, it had three-dimensional depth perception. Distance, size, shape, color, depth, and motion - a two-story-tall eagle.

Scientists say that a giant squid (Architeuthis dux) living in the depths of the ocean has the largest eyeballs of any living creature today. The typical giant squid's eye can measure up to 10 inches in diameter, about half the size of a basketball.

On land, the record for biggest eyeballs is held rather surprisingly by the ostrich. The ostrich eye has a diameter of about 2 inches, roughly the size of a ping-pong ball.

The largest eyeballs of any creature ever apparently belonged to an ancient marine animal, known as an ichthyosaur that lived millions of years ago. Scientific American reports that this undersea creature had eyes about the size of bowling balls, which enabled keener eyesight within murky ocean depths.

Atlantic Giant squid.

But it's probably the colossal squid now.

"Giant squid possess the largest eyes of any living creature—with the possible exception of those of the colossal squid—the eye being over 1 ft (30 cm) in diameter."

p.s. trust me, I'm a jellyfish... I think I ought to know these kinda things.

giant squid is right if you are thinking in absolute terms. In realtion to the size of the animal, this would probably be the tarsier, but I'm not totally sure.
