if you listen to dave ramsey what do you think of his plan?
it makes sense to me. its common sense

I love Ramsey's plan. It is very much common sense and he presents it in a way that makes both of us understand and get on the same page.
He makes you think outside the society norms. Like with mortgages, asking for manually underwriting. This is how the banks used to do it in the olden days. I already asked my credit union and they do manually underwriting so it is out there!
We have already paid off over 15k in the first year and we don't have money fights!! And with the "blow" category, it allows us to still have some date nights to keep sane!

We love Dave Ramsey around here. We started following his plan back in January, and we've already paid off $7800 in debt.
His plan was the first one that made sense to my husband and me. I think we've always tried to follow the plan, but it helped to have it laid out for us.
Reading The Total Money Makeover completely changed how we looked at money and debt.

Love Dave Ramsey!!! Just came on the radio in Atlanta and my husband and I are hooked. Brings the power of focus into our lives so we can live like no one else, and eventually, we WILL live like no one else!

I dont think his show is on around here. However I did just buy and read his book last week. (The financial work book one).
I think he's got great tips and a way of speaking that should open some eyes of the ignorant. I do, however, think he's a little overboard as far as saying that you should never have a credit card, loan, etc, ever and that a mortgage company should "do their job right' and be able to loan you money on a house with no credit whatsoever.

I used to listen.
His plan, like a lot of the others in the business (e.g., Suzi) are common sense. The problem is that too many people let ignorance, fear, and bad habits harm their ability to STICK TO a common sense plan.
