$400 for two people including tip. It was for my boyfriend's 25th birthday. He had a tough life growing up. His parents divorced and he never got birthday parties and in college his birthday fell during finals week so no one would ever go out to celebrate his birthday, even his 21st. So for his 25th I brought him to the most expensive restaurant in Boston and we both ordered the most expensive things on the menu.

probably around $600 or so for dinner at Tour D'argent in Paris. We had the duck that is their special, and the bill was as low as it was because we ordered only half a bottle of wine, which had actually turned and got a much more expensive bottle, but paid for the bottle we ordered. We also didn't have dessert, so that must have kept the price down. It was by far the best meal I have ever had, worth every penny or euro, and would do it again, except that i want to try another restaurant Tallivant, the next time we are in Paris.

This past New Year's Eve we had a late dinner @ The Melting Pot and we ended up dropping a little over $200 for our evening. Ouch!! They had a prix fixe menu which included a bottle of wine, a lottery ticket, party hats and that kind of stuff. It was nice, but definitely not worth it.

I think the next most expensive was a "business dinner" a co-worker and I had when we were on the road for a trade show. We splurged @ Morton's in Vegas and I think that tab was right around $175. We totally expensed it! **evil laugh**

I know a lot of people have spent more than this but I took my then wife to dinner at the Sardine Factory in Monterey, CA the night I proposed. Dinner for 2 was about $130 with a glass of champagne to celebrate. It was a really great dinner though and totally worth it. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Monterey area.

I think it was about $175 for two people at a high-end steak place in Minneapolis. But I had veal, he had some form of steak, and I ordered a bottle of champagne since it was my birthday. Then I left a $50 tip since I loved the waitress, she was awesome.

Chateaubriand Pour Deux served aflame at a real French or Cajun Restaurant. ESPECIALLY for two ! In New Orleans, it's the Court of Two Sisters in the French Quarter. Don't believe that $ 175.00 will get it, unless this is 1970's. God Bless !!

Years ago, my parents took my siblings and I to a reservation only, 7 course meal in Keystone, Co. I think it was like 125.00 per person (w/o alcohol). Was expecting this nice meal...but one of the most disappointing meals we have ever had.

In my years of waiting tables, there is a couple that spends two seperate weeks in our neck of the woods, and eats out at the restaurant I worked at every single night of the week. They spend at least 200 p/p every night!

A little over 300 for two people for dinner, wine & dessert at Morton's in Seattle. Nothing special, just a night out. Last night in the city.

I think the most we've spent on dinner was about $150 dollars. We took out my cousin (and best friend) and her friend to dinner for her 18th birthday.
