What are the health risks of anal sex?

I know you can contract HIV that way.
What other risks are there? It's being talked about a lot lately and it seems many are doing it. Is it bad for you? What about over the long term?

There is an increased risk of rectal cancer and loss of bowel control that could leave a woman wearing a diaper for the rest of her life. Infections, torn bowels and the emotional trauma of being degraded and demeaned. No man will ever respect a woman who allows such a thing to be done to her and it will destroy a relationship because of that. There is nothing good about it and everything wrong.
