we do drink tea but we're also proud of our beer, it's drunk all over the world.
Traditional english food are fish and chips, roast dinners on a sunday (we have roast meat like chicken or pork, vegtables and potaotes). It's tradition for the whole family to eat together and relax.
We talk about anything really! If you wanted to mention particular subjects then there is football, most people have an interest in this other sports are tennis and rugby. We also talk about politics, usually insulting the prime minister and films. I've tried to translate this into portuguese using a translator, sorry for any mistakes!

Thankyou for taking an interest in English culture. I would agree with much of the other comments, we also have a british monarch our Queen Elizabeth the 2nd and her husband Prince Philip. However whilst she rules the country, we have a government that makes most of the decisions about our day to day lives (not very good decisions either). We vote every five years on whether we want to keep the present government or whether we want another group of people to make decisions for us (they are usually not very good either). The main religions in our country are Church of England, Catholic and methodist, however we do have many other people in our county with different cultures and religions such as Jewish and sikh etc. I hope this is of help. Your English is very good (much better than my Brazilian).

Most English drink tea, I can't stand it. We like pies, most like chips.
Traditional favourites are fish & chips (fried, battered fish with fried, sliced potatoes), steak and kidney pie with peas and chips.
Traditional puddings include Spotty (most people call it spotted) Dick which is made of self raising flour, beef suet, sugar and dried fruit like currents, raisins, sultanas etc, add water or milk to make a dough and then steam it for about 1.5-2 hours. Serve it with hot custard.
We like our hot puddings ... rhubarb crumble, chocolate sponge, apple pie/crumble.
We joke that we talk about the weather a lot but we really do. You may pass someone in the street and will each say a word or two about the weather ("Nice day." "Going to rain later though." It's one of the first topics of conversation among friends and colleagues too.
We also talk about sport (football and cricket mainly but also snooker, darts and rugby). We talk about the soap operas (Eastenders, Emmerdale, Coronation Street).

Yes we do drink tea all the time but we put milk in it unlike in Brasil. Lots of people like a roast dinner on Sunday. That is roast meat such as Chicken (frango) or Beef with potatoes(batata),vegetables (Legumes)and yorkshire pudding with gravy.
