Only 5% of all breast cancers occur in women under 40 years. It is not advised that any women need to check their breasts below the age of 20 years when only self examination is suggested.
I am more concerned that you are so unusually anxious about breast cancer at your young age. Is there any particular reason for this? Do you for example have a strong family history. If you have perhaps in a few years time it might be reasonable to look at risk counselling, also there is some interest at the moment in women with a significant risk taking anti-cancer drugs, like Tamoxifen, as a possible way of reducing risk. I must stress this is currently at research level only and also it would not yet be appropriate to consider these options in one so young. If you have no family history it is not at all logical or sensible for you to have these concerns at your present age.

I found a lump in breast when I was 24 years old. My doctor removed it just to be safe. He kept telling me not to worry about it being cancerous and that it was very rare for a person my age to have breast cancer. It wasn't cancer, thank god.
Your doctor would know for sure.

It is possible, but try not to worry - as your breasts develop you are probably going to find lumps that will go away with time. Even so, if you are worried go and see your gp asap as if you did have a problem then the sooner you get treated the sooner you'll get better and the more likely you will be to make a full recovary. Good luck xx

these bumps or lums what ever you want to call them is normal in early developing BOYS as well as girls, but serious lumps, I found my first lump at 19 my male cousin had his breast removed when he was 20. A nurse can check you, but do not sit and cry your eyes out till you are seen. as I said lumps and hard knots can be found in a lot of early developing kids and that part is Natural
I wish ya luck

i would think breast cancer needs much more time to develop and you could not get it at such a young age, my grandmother died of breast cancer but she was 50 when it started to develop, i have a chance to get breast cancer if i don't take care of myself seeing as though it runs in the family, I'm only 18, so its all about taking care of your-self and no you can't get breast cancer at 13

I think you have developmental lumps ... dont worry sweetheart my daughter 13 had them too , its just breast tissue etc , your chest will start to fill out soon , give it a couple of months and if you`re still worried ask mum to take you along to the doctor but i really think you`re just developing :)

This is something that you need to discuss with your mom. She can help you... and if she thinks you need to have a doctors appointment she can take care of that too.
I think it could be because you are starting to develop. Your body goes through a lot. Don't worry about it now hon it is good that you are checking but don't panic over nothing. Talk to your mom... it will help.
Good luck to you :)

Highly unlikely at your age. Why are you worrying about it at such a young age. If your Mum had it, then she will have been much older when she got it. If you have any lumps that you think are not normal, ask your Mum first to have a look, then if she's worried then go and see your doctor.

yOU could but only if you have an important family history of cancer or if you have blood cancer, whose actual name I don´t remember. Go to your medic or touch yourself and be sure you don´t feel any particular pain or blump, but remember that you are growing so you may have them.
