Hi Folks,
I have been banned from mentioning the name of a Bedfordshire village, as it is called Shingay - {Charlie Uniform Mike} - Wendy.
What a parsemonious bunch !
It is on the Ordinance survey maps.
Oh I could be quite right myself in pointing out uneccessary bad language, which I do not like, although I am no Puritan.
But really, I was also ticked off for typing f*rt recently.
As in the natural passing of internal gas, and is in the OED.

May I say, jigger & dash it all ?

Bob.

Anytime you come across a word which the stupid yankee dictionary thinks is a swear word when in fact it's a legitimate ENGLISH word, you can over-Ride it by inserting spaces to confuse the computer. My favourite is the English word for a female dog. Type it properly and it'll be starred out, but type it with spaces, and it becomes b i t c h - or even bit ch. Another one is the short word for a cigarette - that's their word for a homosexual, so it gets starred too, but not if you space it out to become F A G! Easy when you're pissed off enough with them ! ! !

There are a lot of English places that have the word"***" in their names. It only means "or, other name"! And what about Pratt's Bottom? There is a book out that you should get called (I'm not sure of the actual title)Dirty British Place Names. I didn't buy one, but I had a quiet chuckle in the shop. You'll find it in the humour section!

I didn't realise about this until reading your question. I'm sure I must have typed loads of naughty words. I though Eflatsharp's answer was very interesting - especially as I have been talking obout my ***** in the "Dog" catergory?

BLIMEY YOU'RE RIGHT EFLAT - I NEVER NOTICED THAT BEFORE!

I remember hearing on the radio about a man called Humphrey who wasn't allowed to use that as his e-mail address due to its first five letters
