ok im actually 14! i do want to be in the military band when im old enough!!!! so yeah. dont get mad for asking but uh......is the army for losers who couldnt go to college? some people say it is but im smart and i wanna do this!!!
so help! and to be int the military band do you have to be like physically fit? i am just wanna no and also i play baritone (like a mini tuba) and it says only trombone i can play that 2 but i like baritone better so could i play that. and i can also play keyboard just dont think thats a good instrument to play in military band would feel silly?

and aslo my sis went to baylor so i may go there 2 not really sureee? could i go there after the army and they would pay for it all? IF SO THATS AWESOME!

the army isn't for losers. it is required that you be physically fit. you go to basic training just like all the other soldiers, you learn how to use a gun and throw grenades and all that stuff, but you don't actually fight. if you want to march then you'd have to do trombone, but to be in the concert band baritone should be fine. but on top of passing the physical requirements you still have to audition. once you're in you still have to audition to stay in, i think thats just to make sure you're improving.

My brother went to the Naval Academy and I went to the Air Force Academy. We could have gotten into any college, but these required endorsement from our Senators. So, no, the Armed Forces are NOT losers. I didn't play in the band, but I know how to play a couple of instruments.

Study hard for the rest of your middle school & high school years. Start exercising because there are minimum physical tests you must pass - pushups, pullups, 1.5 mile runs, etc.

If your family knows a Senator, start initiating conversation with him/her. Otherwise, try to get involved in your local Young Republican/Democrat groups.

no its not fro losers and yes you might want to get a lil fit if you like what you do than do it
