Hey,
In the 5th series of Charmed Piper and Leos Wedding cake Topper is brokern in the past after a spell that Piper casts while her and Leo are having a marriage council session.
At the end they show the place where the cake topper was kept next to the wedding photos and its no longer there as it was broken in the past because of a spell!
Why do they showthis, does it have any effect later??
Any chramed fans know anything??

I think the show showed this part because of the fact that they were using a spell to hurry something along that they shouldn't have. It also shows something that they talked about often. Going back into the past, and affecting the present. Phoebe and Paige were in the past with the demon, and them going back changed it.
I don't feel that it had an effect later in the show. As it disappeared Piper had an immediate reaction by grabbing her heart and having an instant pain. It shows significance because it was something little that broke. If anything I feel that it shows their connection because of the fact that she felt pain from it breaking.

Well I always thought it was an omen that pointed to Piper and Leo's breakup that happened only 4 episodes later when Leo left Piper to become an elder. I thought that cake had something to do with it, even though it's revealed in Season 6 that Chris does too. He manipulated Leo to take over his position as the Charmed Ones whitelighter to get close to Wyatt.

I think it is to show that their marriage is going to have a few problems, at the end of this season Leo is sent off and the marriage goes through the tough spell what with the divorce and all. However love conquered all and the wedding lasted as shown in the final ever episode of charmed.

no its stupid init they made it look like they were gonna make summat of it then did'nt could of made it into a great story line. what does that other guy mean buy may 2007?
