I can not teach you about spreadsheets without one in front of me. Believe me, what you need to do is very simple. Try going to your local college and doing a course, you will probably learn what you need to know in the first lesson.

Alternatively, the web-site below teaches you how to add. It is =A1+B1 Always put an equals sign in front of a calculation, and the A1 refers to the square number.

I believe your revenue is based on charity donations, so your Break Even Point (BEP) should be the minimum amount you need to raise to cover all the cost. You'll need to budget how many people will sign up. You can start by checking attendance of similar events in the past.

List down all your costs. Rental, wages, installation, food,...

The total will be your BEP. Make sure you don't miss out anything. If the amount is not definite, make a sensible estimate. Remember, it is better to overestimate your costs rather then underestimate. This is in accordance to the prudence concept.

Sorry, Where is the question here?

Doesnt sound like you need a spread sheet though. A pen a paper will be fine. Not very complex.

The best way to learn about spread sheets is to have a play with one. Just try things out and see what you can do.
