First of all look in the local paper or at the jobcentre to see if there are any vacancies, if you don't find anything there then the next step is to go to the zoo and ask them if there are any vacancies available. Alternatively you could write a letter to your local zoo and see if there is any voluntary or paid work, if you impress them enough when you're a volunteer then they may take you on full time. Make sure you explain in the letter why you want to work there, even if its just a general love of animals, you need to give them a reason, it makes it more personal and shows you're not messing around.
