What is good diary management?

A future PA and you don't know diary management? Maybe you just call it something different.

Put simply, part of a PA's job is to run the diary of their superior, to make sure there is enough time between appointments for travel, to make sure no two appointments clash, andf to generally ensure that the boss is ready for all upcoming appointments.
