Hopefully she didn;t make a big stink out of it. It is natural to do this and it shouldn't be embarassing to get caught. Just move on girlfriend. We all do it including your mother!

Oh, poor you! I can see how you're feeling, but it's nothing to be embarrassed about - explain to your mom about how you're growing up now, and how things are changing for you. She won't be ashamed of you - she might be a bit shocked, but in the end she'll be proud. You're her little girl, and you always will be, but you're growing up at the same time, and that's nothing to be ashamed of.
In the short term, I know it may seem like you can never face her again, but hold your head up high and walk downstairs and grab an apple, asking your mom when dinner is - something like that, not bringing up what's happened at all. Just move on, and don't feel that you have to either talk about it or dwell on it and feel embarrassed. Act completely normally around her, and she'll forget about it, seriously. The more embarrassed you seem to be, the more embarrassed she'll get as well.
Or, you could talk about it. Just ask if you can have a brief word with her and explain that you're growing up and that you're constantly changing, and that you're confused about everything that's going on. She'll feel a rush of protectiveness and she'll be able to advise you on everything she went through when she was your age, which means she'll still think of you as her little girl, if that's the way you want it to stay. But remember, it doesn't have to stay like that - if you feel claustrophobic, or too wrapped up in tcotton wool, explain that you're not a little girl anymore, but a maturing young woman.
Good luck!

Honey their is nothing wrong with you. Its very normal. You need to learn to only do it in private however. When your sure noone will walk in. lock your door. Or try the shower. She is not ashamed of you she doesn't know what to say to you. I can almost promise you that your mom does it, or has done it.
I would much rather you explore your own body, then to let some boy do it for you. You did it because bottom line it felt good. It will feel better as you learn your own body.
Go to your mom and talk to her, she will understand. Reassure her you aren't considering sex . Just wait on sex. The pregnancy risk is not worth the pleasure you will get from him. When your older and know what you LOVE and what makes it feel the best, when you meet Mr right, and get married you can teach him how to make you feel even better.

First off you have nothing to be embarrassed about. It is part of life and something that many women do as they mature. The fact that you have your mother knowing that you are maturing is another thing. You really should take this time to open up the air of communication about sex and sexuality etc. She may be just as scared to know that you are at this point in your life and if you have not let on to the fact that you are and she is in shock, a good talk about it might make you both prepared for the rest of your teen years. Dont go it alone- she has been there too you know!

It's ok!!
It's totally natural to do that, I think my mom caught me doing that once when I was around 15. Just try not to let it come between you! If she wants to talk about it, then talk about it, but if nothing comes up, then it's ok! It's perfectly natural and I'm sure that's how your mom sees it. She shouldn't be ashamed, she's probably been there and done that.
It's better to do that then to be out having sex when you're 13 anyway!!
Don't feel bad!

First of all, no matter what people say, there is nothing wrong with what you're doing. Men do it all the time, and brag about it. Women, however have always, for the most part, been raised that this is dirty. It's ok. No matter what your friends say, most of them have done it too. And most likely your mom too. I know your embarrassed, but in time, you'll forget all about it. Just next time, try to find a room with a lock.

Hmmmmmmmmm I once forgot and didnt knock on my sons door- he is 16 and I KNOW I caught him ummmmmm playing.......but I immediately turned my head and said " heres your wallet u were looking for" and left. Im hoping he thinks I didnt see! lol Now I totally KNOCK on his door and wait to hear him say come in! This is something completely normal and we all have done it and some still do! Theres nothing at all wrong with you sweetheart- I promise you that! I would just pretend it didnt happen and go on with your life. If your mom doesnt knock on your door before entering ask her if she could do that or put a sign on your door that says KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING and that should take care of it ever happenning again! Good luck to u

Hey girl.. it's completely normal. Give your mom a bit to just think about the situation and things will get back to normal before you know it. When you see her.. things will be a little awkward, but she'll be fine with it. She may have a little talk with you about it, just giving you the 'sex' talk.. or she may just ignore the whole situation and ask you what you want for dinner!!! Relax, these things happen!! Just be glad your mom caught you and not your dad!!! :)

I'm the mother of a 14 year old, and I was your age once too. There are 2 kinds of people- those who masturbate, and those who lie about it. There's nothing to be ashamed of, everyone touches themselves. I understand you're embarrassed, but it'll pass.

She may be as embarrassed as you were! No need to stress over it.
I was exploring my body when I was 3, though I was far too young to understand it. I'm married and almost 30, and I still do it. As long as you don't let it consume you, it's no big deal. But you might want to lock the door next time! :)
