People who adhere to the "if you havent used it in 1 year throw it out" pertaining to clutter.
So I havent had an job interview and havent used my dress suit in a year i should throw it out?
I havent needed to use my power drill in over a year ..i need to throw it out?
I really dont understand this concept. But it overall needs to be stored properly rather than being thrown out.

Only you can decide what to toss and what to save. Once you have done this, then get a maid. Check with some of your friends or neighbors, they may be able to recommend someone that they use. The prices vary greatly and if you can find someone who is reliable and not with an agency they are much more reasonable.

A 1 time cleaning "Spring Cleaning" 30 dollars an hour 1500 square feet min. 5 hours includes only about 4 loads of laundry and detail cleaning.
This is an average house, some houses are worse some are better. My brothers house if awful never does a thing has a dog and a doggy door everything a mess more like 1500 square feet I can get done in about 10 hours. Will not take a penny less hard work and rewarding escpecially when everything is organized really comes together and looks like a home makeover

Hello!

Rates really depend on a multitude of things! One time cleanings are typically more expensive than weekly or bi-weekly.

Also, they determine the rates on what you want to be done. If you want them to clean a bathroom & a kitchen, that would be different than the whole place.

They also base the rates on whether they are supplying the chemicals & needed materials! Experience is another big factor. You will pay less if you hire a one man show versus a huge company who is highly insured & experienced! (I wouldn't recomend anyone who is not insured-it protects against damage & theft)

To be honest a good one time cleaning in CT, would probably run you about $140 for the whole place...best bet is to call around & be informed when you do!

Thanks & Good Luck! =)

Depends on what you are looking for. In my area, Long Island, they run anywhere from $60 to $125 a cleaning. It also depends on how big the place is; how many bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, kitchen, etc. And the first cleaning may be more expensive then the other ones.

Best bet is to call a couple or three services in the area and have them over to look and quote. Pick one, give him/her a couple of visits and then evaluate your needs and their success. You can then tailor the trips to co-incide with your needs.
Clutter is your game though. If you haven't used it in a year, toss it.

My family has a really big home so I'm not sure about smaller houses but ours charges about $250 a day.

They usually charge by the hour. I think the minimum is $10 an hour, but it could cost more than that amount.
You may want to hire an expert to help with the clutter, but that will cost much more than $10 an hour.

Well, my live-in maid gets 225 to 250 dollars a month, so a person who just comes to clean your house daily should cost much loess.
