Most people who regularly wear wellingtons are surely those who walk a lot or work at a physical job (gardening, farming etc) and are therefore likely to have muscles on their legs!

I only found one shop in Reading which sold wellingtons which would actually fit over my calf muscles - all the others seemed to be made for stick insects! (and the ones I found were almost the cheapest I had seen - which was great)

The mind boggles any good trying some of these new fanggled clogs to be found in most garden centres. Alternatively take a trip to lidl as they have wellies on sale at the moment all bright colours of the rainbow and plain ones.

Once there're gone there're gone so get down there quick time and see if you can get any to fit you.

Alternatively you could try the farmers union in the are where you live. Perhaps in Maindenhead or Oxford in a farming community.

People nowadays think that every one are like skeletons. The people that make them all presume that only thin people need them but they don't think that people who walk or have a physical job will need tem or they will have musclely legs!

I totally agree. Not only are those who wear them likely to have big calves, they are designed to be worn with thick socks very annoying.
