Did you end up having a boy or a girl? I'm trying to figure out how true the things I've heard about timing are for natural gender selection.

I did - and I only had sex 1 day unprotected, and then the following days were with protection, and I got pregnant and had a boy! In fact it happend twice for me, and I have 2 boys!

we had sex on the day I was ovulating, and hadn't had sex for probably a week before that, and we had a boy. I've heard that if you want to try for a boy, you should have sex a few days before ovulation because the boy sperm can live longer so only boys will be left when the egg decends. But it's harder to try for a girl, since it could be either one if you have sex during ovulation.
