I did watch this but it got pretty complex in the 2nd part and I got distracted. I do know that the woman found murdered at the beginning of Part one, was actually murdered by her husband (who had the Old People's Home) and it made him carry on because he enjoyed the mind games he was playing with the Detective (the main guy). It all culmunated in the Bad Guy going after the Detective's sister (the one he met at his father's bedside who by this time he had become friendly with) and he tied her upside down over a rising canal. Of course she was saved just in time....... Happily ever After etc. Hope this is Ok for you - it is awful when you miss the end of something!
