A friend had a problem with her phone company, and changed to another company, changing her number at the same time.
She said she wasn't giving out her number yet because she is getting too many phonecalls.
Was she telling me the truth?

I had the same problem as your friend. I eventually gave some people my phone number, and I was just back where I started! So...my opinion is that she's telling your truth. But did she say absolutely NOBODY? I mean...what sense does it make to have a phone number and have nobody to call you??? :)))))))
If she's a real friend of yours she'll give you her new phone number, when she sees that nobody calls her !!! :)))

that's kinda hard to say if you friend is lying to you. I would ask from the previous past, do you think she has a reason to lie to you? Also more importantly, try to read into her body language because that will probably give it away to see if she is lying to you.

saying she is getting too many phonecalls is abit of a dodgy reason to not give out her number...sounds like for whatever reason she doesnt want you to have it, maybe you want to be upfront and ask her why

I would wait and see if she does give it to you, but if she does not then i do not think she is the kind of friend for you.
