Yes, you can use this training to go on to an LPN, RN, whatever you choose. Nurse's Aides' jobs being "bad" or "good" depend on the facility you work at. Just like any profession there are places that are better than others- some good, some bad. Nurse's Aides are relied upon to do a lot of the "heavy lifting" and menial tasks that do not require specialty training, but these Aides are highly needed. Since there is also a nursing shortage, many facilities will pay for your continuing education.

Most people use Nursing Aid jobs to become nurses. Most job depend on the facility that you work at. Not all are bad. But, some are really bad.
