Your question really doesn't make much sense - you're trying to apply a modern political/economic theory to a species that lived tens of thousands of years ago. At best, the neanderthals were primitive hunter/gatherers, and why they died out has been the topic of much lively debate over the years, with theories ranging from climate change to predation by early humans. Calling them communists is a significant stretch, and trying to blame their extinction on this supposed "communism" seems more like an attempt to justify your own beliefs about communist societies than a workable theory.
