I do write and I always use a computer. It is faster for me to type. It is easier to make corrections. (Thank Goodness for spell check!) and I can forward it when necessary for review or editing. Writing by can can be messy. You have either eraser marks, cross outs or things of this nature. With me it is coffee stains! On a computer I don't have to worry about that.

I have written a book, and I use the computer. It's so much easier to correct and fix, but I do write by hand sometimes, because I can't take the computer with me and I'll get an idea in the car, so I write it down right there. So, I use both, but I use the computer more.

Computer, definitely. You will have to eventually use the computer to type your story anyway, and that way (if you use Word) you can spell check your material. You're giving yourself too much work by hand writing it and then putting on the computer, trust me. Now any ideas on your plot or characters or whatever can be jotted down on paper, but use the computer to write down everything. And back up you material on disc or flash drive if possible! Happy writing!!

write it on the computer. u can right it in any order and move it around. seperate paragraphs and then you can see what would flow the best. I also type my notes into the computer when I’m interviewing someone by phone so i can just copy those notes into a new document and use them to write the story. this works great for quotes.

I always write by hand. A computer may be quicker but doesn't have the same feel as hand on paper.

I have written several books and still use the 8x10 notebooks in longhand & then on to my computer.
Reason: I find it easier to accomplish. And if there are discrepanices I can always go back to my notes in longhand.
Needless to say I have many notebooks that are full front and back of each page.
