How cheap are lobsters in Maine?

Lobster in Maine isn't all that cheap, unless of course it's been around a few extra days. Always shop around, like anything else. God Bless !!

They're really cheap - no lobster has ever been seen paying retail.

Last I bought (within 6 months) they were 6.95 a pound.
I'm not sure how that compares...I've been a Mainer all my life. Is that cheap?
