Love to look at it and perhaps go as far as my knees but it scares me to death. Sooo much water. We lived in Cornwall for a few years and i could do nothing but watch while a 14 year old boy drowned after being washed off the cliffs by a wave. Life boat people could do nothing either. Not to mention all the other fatalities i was witness to because of people's stupidity. It put me off for life.

No, the sea do not frighten me. I love the sea. Do you know the Japanese caught the largest jelly fish ever found on earth. The jelly fish was about 18 feet long. (6 m).

I'm fine with the sea myself and we have a boat that we go out in with the kids - but my mum was dead against us getting the boat and didn't want me to take the children in it. She said the sea sort of seems to swallow you up and I think she must have had a bad experience when she was young - she even hates it on TV dramas, when they are filming a sea scene and the water level goes up to the camera and down again! I'm trying to get the children involved in the boat and stuff so that they respect the sea but feel at ease with it too.

Yes the sea scares me,i don't like the fact that it's so deep you're not secured safe,it could take you if it wnats too.The fact that it can turn on you on a Tsunami, big wave etc....The animals, sharks jellifish they can hurt you....so yeah i pretty much am scared of it but still go to it cuz as much as it has it's cons it's extremely tranquile when you want to relax, just the breeze the air,but you just have to keep your eyes peeled...and yeah i never go out far too, like i said you're are just not secured when you feel solid groundat your feet.

As a life long surfer, and waterman I love the sea. 3/4 of earths surface is covered in water. You just need to learn water safety skills. It is like home for me. 51 years and I've yet to be bitten by a shark. It is more dangerous to drive on the highways of this world. If your fear persists then stay out because it can bite you in the rear.

I had a couple of bad experiences. A friend of mine was struggling in a strong tide so I went to help her out. It really was strong and I couldn't seem to make any distance back to the beach. A German woman came and rescued my friend and I made my own way back eventually. An hour later I went out alone and I had to get rescued myself. Embarrassing and a little scary, but it wouldn't stop me going in the sea again though.

I love the sea and am in awe of how small I feel every time I am next to it! It does not frighten me however, I feel like I am nothing more than a grain of sand in the universe! I feel the majesty of God there just like when I am an on a mountain! I feel close to Him and think to myself, "what an awesome and mighty Creator!" God's creation brings Him praise!

The sea don't frighten me, but after being badly stung by jellyfish, I won't go swimming in it no more. 5 years ago went swimming in the sea at bridlington, and was badly stung, my fingers were numb for 3 months, and I still get pins and needles in them to this day.
