Now to answer your question - well I'm a huge fan of Phil Collins.I think he is amazing as a singer as well as a drummer. But to name a typical drummer I would say the best is Chad Smith from Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I'm not a big fan of this band though but I think he is "Hot" - Artistically speaking..lol........

1- Neil Peart.....form Rush....he has a phd. in percusion...he is the most creative drummer in the world.If you go back and listen to him,he is very fast,his drum kits was very large,he had everything.
The man is a god.
2- Alex Van Halen is great too.

long story, abbreviated: Blue oyster Cult's drummer was throwing his sticks into the crowd, but had another in his hand immediately. how? there was a guy behind him spin- flipping them in the air and that drummer was blindly snatching them without missing a beat. it was the most awesome performance i've seen, surpassing iron butterfly's hour and 10 minutes concert "enna gadda da vida" solo.

She was Princes drummer.
I saw her in Ringo Starr's All Star Band.
Never heard of her before that.
She was Fantastic! I never saw anyone like her.
Even Ringo was impressed.
