Does anyone else get a little sick and tired of paying lots of taxes to keep dole bums, losers and other lay abouts in a constant supply of free money and passes onto the Jeremy Kyle show?

Too right i do. I think all the people who basically refuse to work, and those who rip off the tax man should be forced to clean our beaches rivers and streets until they get a job. And i mean 40 hours a week. Would they be so keen to stay in bed then. After a year, if they are fit they should lose all benefits, especially if they have been offered jobs.

And just think how great our beaches would be, for us working class folk to use at the weekend. Instead o these lazy bums using them all week at our expense.

Yes - I worked since I was 14 and then when I had a baby at almost 30 and wanted time out for a year (the plan was always to use my savings but thought I would ring to see if they could help) I was told I wasn't entitled to anything. That confused me as all I see around me are people who haven't worked, not working, not bothering and wearing their posh designer clothes! I know one person who is on the dole who wears those £80 Victoria Beckham jeans - which we are paying for! Don't get me started! It seems you are rewarded in this country for doing nothing and penalised if you work hard.

Yes it makes me angry having been on unemployed but never claimed instead volunteered to work in a charity shop. Then got lucky and found a job after 6 months.

Why is it as residents when things go wrong for us we are tough but other people arrive as mentioned wearing designer gear pulling along a few children all dressed in the latest clothes and money is handed out no questions asked.

The whole policy should be changed and not left for us to pay the bills through being taxed out of existence.

I completely agree - I'm sick at the sight of my pay slip each month and paying out more tax than I can afford to live on. At least they can eat! I'd probably be financially better off on the dole but could never do it our of pure pride (and the fact I'd be bored out my skull). Although I do have to say I am a Jeremy fan - it's always good for a bit of amusement in the early morn!!

Yes I have worked since I left school at the age of 16, In the 17 years I have worked I have claimed employment benefits for 2 weeks, in which time I had about 8 interviews.

Should people who do not get a job with in a time limit be given jobs, like litter picking and other required jobs to make this country pretty. In this we would lower employment as people who do not want to do these low task jobs would make more of a effort and the others would have there employment benefit paid to them if they turn up for community projects etc.

Hear, hear! I know quite a few lads back home who never seem to work. They always seem to have an endless supply of Tennants Super and hash though. I have no objection to foreigners working here. They are doing the jobs these wasters should be doing. Ironically, they are the ones who complain loudest about foreigners.

Well there are not so many of them these days - The unemployment figures are very low compared to the 1980's and 90's. The long term unemployed should be encouraged and helped to find jobs though, as I think most of them would like. There are always a few that don't wan't to work, and they should certainly be made to work. But this is not anywhere near as big a problem as the right wing media in this country would have you believe.

Yes, but if you owned your own company and they applied for a job would you employ them?
Unfortunately there are drones and misfits in every society and they are not all unemployed just look at the wasters in positions of power. But we do seem to have more than our far share of both varieties I wonder why?
