This whole retarded show is scripted. The kids wear earpieces so their supposedly witty lines can be fed to them. All the children are professional actors, NOT fifth grade students in any normal school. If you don't believe me feel free to look up their Bios on www.imdb.com. Perhaps you recognize Laura from The Jacket as the young Keira Knightley. She's also a recurring character on Without a Trace.
I hate stupid fake shows.

It's kinda funny, yet kinda sad to think there really are people who are that dumb. Or forgetful. Some of those contestants seem fake, but even if they are, it's sad to realize that there are REAL people who are that unknowing about stuff. I could understand if someone isn't good in science, or isn't good in math, or any subject, but it's really sad to know that some people are bad in *all* of those subjects.
It's way too slow for me. I could save it and zip through it later, but then you lose half of the funny stuff.
I guess it's a show I'd watch if there were nothing else on, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it every week.
P.S. I love how the kids pretend they didn't get the right answer, then they proudly show their correct answer! They're good actors!

I saw it and I think the premise is good but the pacing is way too slow. Also, it was on at 9:00 at night - after my fifth-grade son was in bed! I might watch it again if it was on earlier and maybe for 1/2 an hour instead of an entire hour.

We watched it last week and this week it will be on Fox on Thursday! We loved it! I liked Kyle the best of all the kiddos, he was so sweet. That show is an excellent show for kids and parents to watch together. My son is in 3rd grade and could answer most of those questions and the poor adults, some college grads, couldn't answer! lol.....too funny......excellent show!!
And yes I'll admit......I'm not as smart as a 5th grader!! lol - and I went to college!!!

I saw it, but they only asked 5 (!) questions in the whole half hour. Jeopardy asks what, like 40? That's a much more enjoyable show. So, while I like the premise of contrasting adults with kids on test questions, it just is too s-l-o-w paced for me. They seem to have taken a page from the Deal or No Deal rule book - lots of time for audience cajoling, lots of time for needless mulling of the answer, needless time to build up to the delivery of the answer, etc. ZZzzzzzzz...

yes, we have watched it twice. it is funny, it is hard to believe some of those questions are from a fifth grade or less book. i always thought i was smarter than a fifth grader, but that show makes me wonder sometimes.

I saw it but it was a waste of time. They asked very little questions, and to me, the whole thing seems set up. Its OK, If its on i might glance at it, but other than that, theres something else id rather watch.

I saw it & thought it was great...except they draw it out too much like they did with Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
