Not everyone does. Those kind of people are artificial, and they don't know what they are missing by not looking further than skin deep.

Unfortunately, a lot of the human race, look at a person for attractive looks, and if they want to dig, look into bank accounts. Friendships and Love, should be a soul searching experience. Enjoyments with indoor and outdoor activities, as well as a mental enjoyable capacity. I have raised 3 children on my own, circumstances are too long to post, but in that time had approx 18 months help in almost 16 years. I am overweight, but not grossly, and am also not extremely financial. I rent, own my own car, and furniture, although is not the top of the cream. I have no debts, and I work nights to support myself and children. A lot of people want to financially gain by entering a friendship/partnership, and only look at the surface, not what is embedded into the heart.

It is not that people see only what is on the surface of a person, it is what you are allowing people to see. In the universe there is one common link in everything created. That link is called energy. By what we think, creates the energy we give to others. If you believe you are only being judged on your surface features than you will only be judge on what is on the surface. Your question shows insecurity. With that you are putting of a negative energy that other feel and sense. If you change the way you think about yourself, others will change the way they think of you. " Whether a man believes he can or can not, either way he is right."

Some people are shallow I guess, but that's first thing you see initially. Once I'm around someone I get know them and value them as a person and not by their looks.
