i'm quiitin today after 3 years... its a horrible place to work and i want to let my boss know that also. any suggestions?

I would write a memo stating that after three years of on the job stress that a more comfortable position is being sought

Just say i have been working herer for three years. And the work atmophere is horrible. i have been waiting to see cahnge but none has come so i quit

Don't get into all that. Just say that you're giving 2 weeks notice in order to pursue another opportunity.
Don't burn any bridges and telling him off will do just that. You have nothing to gain by doing that.

When I quit my job after two years, I just told them that I found another job. Put two weeks in though.

Give two weeks' notice and be honest about your reasons, however, don't go off on a rant and don't burn your bridges--you never know if/when it will come back to haunt you!
